Toggy Smith¶

Hi! My name is Toggy — an unusual name, I know! — and I'm a 23-year-old software engineer. I have this website here to share some of the projects I've been working on, some of the engineering problems I've come across, and to build a community of like-minded individuals.

A little bit about me: I was born in the seaside town (now a city!) of Southend-on-Sea, and I moved to London in 2021; I studied Computer Science there at King's College London, and I graduated with First Class Honours in 2025. Most recently, I moved up to Edinburgh in Scotland to work as an aerospace software engineer at Leonardo UK.

In total, I have around two and a half years worth of experience in software engineering. I primarily use C++, Rust, and Python, but I have also dabbled in TypeScript, Java, C#, Go, C, Zig, and numerous other languages.
